Born out of a passion for reducing waste and preventing unnecessary landfill Nicole and Bruce Polmear started Altruist Furnishings.
The company makes sustainably produced artistic furniture and homewares. All resources and materials are sourced from renewable or second hand sources, such as roadside collection, unwanted furniture and other items destined for the tip.
The couple have recently purchased a workshop and intend to open a showroom in the future, until then – stay tuned to Altruist Furnishings Facebook page for pop up locations and items for sale.
