Wungong Dam has magnificent scenery whilst providing a large range of facilities, making it a great attraction. Facilities include free gas barbeques, picnic tables, toilets, grassed area near the entrance which is ideal for family activities.
Wungong Dam began as a small concrete pipehead dam to solve the growing populations water shortage problem. Work on the current dam began in 1975, and was completed in 1979.
